YouTube streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was stunned when some of her fans compared her to a…Chihuahua on Twitter?
As one of the most popular streamers and content creators in space, Valkyrae was able to reach a wide variety of people, resulting in a large following from over 3.6 million subscribers.
Her fans are known for giving the creator their full support and gave the 30-year-old the perfect birthday surprise earlier this year.
This time, however, instead of giving her followers praise and recognition, the YouTube star found herself on the side of some lighthearted jokes.
Valkyrae responds to fans comparing her to a Chihuahua
It happened during one of their last April streams Valkyries Attention that her fans compared the content creator to a chihuahua.
“So I was just minding my own business,” she laughed. “When I surf Twitter, I also see on Rae’s Twitter page: ‘If Rae were a breed of dog, what would it be?'”
To her surprise, the streamer said, the vast majority of her fans considered her a Chihuahua, which she firmly disagreed with.
“I’m not giving off full Chihuahua energy, okay?” Rae said. “I’m more than that, okay? I’m much more than that. I’ll let you know.”
Unsatisfied with the Chihuahua comparison, Valkyrae continued, giving her an idea of what she would actually be like – and although she specified a completely different breed, Rae ended up adding a bit of a Chihuahua anyway.
“I think I’m more of a Rottweiler — maybe a Rottweiler-Chihuahua mix.”
While the comparison to a Chihuahua isn’t exactly ideal for the streamer, Rae’s thought of being a more menacing canine could perhaps help her in her role as a villain in Funimation’s Tribe Nine.
